Welcome to "Great Books for Kids to Read."

My name is K. Emma Green and I am the author of Mickey the Cricket and Friends Take a Leap for Love and Sowing Seeds of Kindness.  I am also a grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren.  I love writing children books with a sense of humor and that is also educational.  It is so important for our children to learn valuable life lessons at a young age.  Learning and understanding these valuable lessons will help them understand themselves, others and the world around them. Which in my opinion will help  them become better adults. 

Because of my belief of teaching children while they are young, I decided to put together a collection of great children books, some of my own books and also other children book authors.  It is my hope that my blog will make it easier for you to find the right book for your children.  My wish is that you and your children will enjoy reading these books and that the lessons they learn will stay with them for a lifetime.
